Radiology Department

Specialist Radiographer (Band 6) CT / General

Full time 37.5 hours per week

Currently we have a position(s) for full time Specialist Radiographers (Band 6) with CT skills, within the Radiology service at Kingston Hospital which provides a full range of diagnostic studies. The CT area is equipped with 2 Siemens Somatom Edge multi-slice scanners with a third projected to be installed late 2019. The rotation includes working in CT which is involved in a 7 day extended working week. Participation in this rota would be an expectation of the role. Other rotational areas include interventional radiology, general radiology and A&E. Participation in the on call rota is expected.

Kingston Hospital NHS FT has recently been given a outstanding QCQ rating.

The Radiology Department has a well progressed equipment refresh and environment plan which began in 2017.
