We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Scrub Nurse to join our dynamic theatre team at Kingston Hospital.

You will work as part of the scrub team providing perioperative care to patients and rotate through a range of surgical specialities.

Specialities covered are General Surgery, ENT and Maxilloacial Surgery, Breast Surgery, Upper GI, Colorectal, Urology, Gynae, Plastics, Elective & Trauma Orthopaedics, Eyes, Paediatrics, Pain service and  a 24-Hour Emergency Surgery Theatre.

We welcome applications from qualified nurses and ODP’s with relevant experience looking for a new challenge, with the added opportunity for enhancement of clinical skills. Ideally you will have previous operating theatre experience.

The department offers an excellent opportunity for staff to gain experience in all specialties. You must also be prepared to have a flexible approach to duties to meet the needs of this service

The Main Theatre department comprises 8 operating theatres & The Day Surgery Unit comprises of 4 theatres performing surgery in a variety of specialities.

We will provide you with support and training to develop new skills and continuous professional development.
