Applications are invited for the post of Trust Grade in sexual health to join the Wolverton Centre, Kingston Hospital NHS foundation trust. The successful candidate will join a highly motivated, professional, and friendly multi-disciplinary team to provide an integrated sexual health service.
This is a fixed term role that has arisen from service changes. The post would suit a doctor in their F3 year contemplating a career in sexual health/HIV/SRH, or wishing to gain sexual health skills to complement existing training in general practice or gynaecology.
The post holder will be expected to manage male and female patients presenting with a wide range of sexual health problems and contraceptive needs. There will be an opportunity to work in some of the specialist services we provide which include clinics for young people, LGBT clinics, as well as research trials.
Previous experience in sexual health is desirable, but not essential for this post . Training in all aspects of sexual health and contraception will be provided as required for the successful applicant on joining the service.
The full time post is 40 hours /week with no on call commitments.
Applicants must be fully registered with the General Medical Council with licence to practice.
