Clinical Nurse Specialist in Dermatology

We are seeking an enthusiastic, forward thinking and highly-motivated nurse to join our busy, progressive service.

We are a large district hospital and referral centre for a broad range of specialist services. We aim to provide a service devoted to the highest level of individualised, holistic care through development and support of our staff.

We deliver a comprehensive range of services including phototherapy, photodynamic therapy and topical treatments to patients with acute and chronic skin disease including skin cancer and wounds. Services are provided at Kingston Hospital and local community hospitals and healthcare centers and our multi-disciplinary team, are all highly qualified, friendly and have access to the advanced technology and equipment.

The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse with a minimum 3 years post registration experience with the ability to organise their time efficiently, work independently as well as in part of a team. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, a good working knowledge of assessment and management within a dermatology setting and be able provide evidence of caring for patients within specific skin-care management needs.

In this role you will work closely with the clinical nurse specialists and consultants to provide timely and appropriate care to patients. You will be able to develop your skills and knowledge working collaboratively with all levels of staff within the multidisciplinary team.
